Aesthetic Treatments in Honolulu

Aesthetic care should begin with an understanding of your skin, hair, health information, and treatment priorities.

At Lawa Longevity in Kaimukī, our aesthetic services include skin analysis, laser treatments, professional skin renewals, microneedling, injectable treatments, and PRP Hair Restoration. Each treatment pathway begins with an appropriate consultation or evaluation.

Your provider will help you compare available options, understand their limitations, and choose a plan that reflects your goals and acceptable recovery time.

You do not need to select a procedure before your consultation. Begin with the concern you want evaluated and the amount of recovery you are comfortable planning for.

Skin Analysis & Consultations

Begin With a Clearer View of Your Skin

Skin Analysis & Consultations provide a starting point for people who want professional guidance before choosing an aesthetic treatment.

Lawa offers:

  • Alma IQ Skin Analysis
  • Aesthetic Consultation

Alma IQ uses standardized imaging to document and assess selected visible skin characteristics. The information may help your provider discuss your concerns and compare changes across future visits.

An aesthetic consultation considers more than an image. Your provider may also review your health history, medications, current skincare products, previous procedures, sun exposure, healing patterns, and desired outcome.

Skin analysis does not diagnose skin cancer or replace examination by a dermatologist. New, changing, bleeding, painful, or otherwise concerning skin findings require appropriate medical evaluation.

Alma Harmony

Multiple Technologies for Selected Skin and Hair Concerns

Alma Harmony is a multi-application aesthetic platform. At Lawa, available treatment options include ClearLift, vascular treatment, laser hair removal, and tattoo removal.

Treatment Primary focus
ClearLift A non-ablative laser treatment for selected skin concerns
Vascular Treatment Evaluation and treatment of selected visible vascular concerns
Laser Hair Removal Reduction of unwanted hair in eligible treatment areas
Tattoo Removal Laser treatment for selected tattoo pigments

Each option uses different technology and has separate candidacy, preparation, and recovery requirements.

Laser hair removal does not guarantee permanent removal of every hair. Tattoo removal may require multiple sessions and may not completely remove every pigment. Visible vascular findings should be evaluated appropriately before treatment because not every concern is cosmetic.

Advanced Skin Renewals

Professional Facials and Chemical Exfoliation

Treatment Treatment experience
Harmony Facial Restorative, hydrating, and balancing professional facial care
Fire & Ice Facial A warming resurfacing masque followed by a cooling, hydrating masque
Prodigy Chemical Peel Controlled chemical exfoliation selected according to the skin and treatment goal
The Harmony Facial may suit people seeking gentler professional care. Fire & Ice provides a more exfoliating facial experience. The Prodigy Chemical Peel may involve more visible dryness, flaking, peeling, or sensitivity.

A stronger treatment is not automatically the better choice. Your provider will consider your skin, current products, previous procedures, upcoming events, and acceptable recovery.

PRP Hair Restoration

Begin by Understanding the Cause of Hair Loss

PRP Hair Restoration uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from a sample of your blood and injected into selected areas of the scalp.

The procedure may be considered for certain types of hair thinning after an appropriate evaluation. It is not suitable for every cause or stage of hair loss.

Your consultation may include discussion of:

  • When the hair loss began
  • Whether it is gradual, sudden, or patchy
  • Areas of the scalp affected
  • Family history
  • Current medications and supplements
  • Recent illness or hormonal changes
  • Nutrition-related factors
  • Previous hair-loss treatments
  • Scalp symptoms
Laboratory testing or evaluation by a dermatologist may be recommended before treatment.

PRP Hair Restoration is not permanent and does not guarantee new hair growth. A treatment series and future maintenance may be recommended for eligible patients.

Alma Hybrid

Adjustable Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Alma Hybrid combines ablative CO₂ and non-ablative 1570 nm fractional laser technologies. The provider can adjust the treatment approach according to the concern being addressed and the anticipated recovery.

Lawa offers:

Treatment option Treatment approach
Skin Resurfacing with Hyaluronic Acid Fractional laser resurfacing paired with a provider-selected hyaluronic acid protocol
Skin Resurfacing with PRP Fractional laser resurfacing paired with PRP prepared from your blood
Pixel Peel A lighter CO₂ resurfacing treatment for selected surface-level concerns
Alma Hybrid may be considered for concerns involving uneven-looking texture, fine lines, visible sun-related changes, or selected scars. Not every scar or pigmentation concern should be treated with laser resurfacing.

Treatment intensity, recovery, and results vary. Pixel Peel is a lighter option, but it is not risk-free or appropriate for every person.

Neuromodulators & Filler

Injectable Treatments Planned Around Your Features

Lawa’s injectable aesthetic options include neuromodulators and PRP DermaFiller.

Injectable option What it involves
Botox A neuromodulator used to temporarily affect selected facial muscle activity
Xeomin A neuromodulator used for selected expression-related concerns
Daxxify A neuromodulator considered according to the treatment area and provider assessment
PRP DermaFiller A PRP-based injectable option prepared from a sample of your blood
Neuromodulators have different authorized uses, dosing requirements, and expected durations. Your provider should explain which product is being recommended and why.

PRP DermaFiller is not the same as a conventional hyaluronic acid dermal filler. Its preparation, proposed use, potential benefits, limitations, and risks should be explained before treatment.

Injectables require careful evaluation of facial anatomy, health history, medications, previous procedures, and treatment expectations. No injectable can guarantee a particular appearance or completely stop natural facial changes.

SkinPen Microneedling

Controlled Microneedling With Two Available Protocols

SkinPen creates controlled microscopic punctures in the skin using a sterile, single-use needle cartridge.

Lawa offers:

Option What it involves
SkinPen Microneedling with Hydrogel SkinPen treatment using the system’s designated hydrogel accessory
SkinPen Microneedling with PRP SkinPen treatment paired with PRP as a separate provider-guided adjunct
The designated hydrogel provides glide and helps reduce friction during treatment. It should not be presented as a medication or active injectable ingredient.

PRP is prepared from your blood and is not part of SkinPen’s cleared microneedling system. The FDA has not cleared microneedling devices to deliver PRP or evaluated the safety and effectiveness of combining microneedling with PRP. Your provider should explain how PRP will be used separately before you consent.

SkinPen’s cleared indications include improving the appearance of facial acne scars in adults age 22 and older. It is also cleared for neck wrinkles in adults age 22 and older within specified Fitzpatrick skin types.

Your provider may ask about medications, supplements, allergies, previous procedures, pregnancy, skin conditions, healing patterns, and other factors that may affect treatment.
3. Evaluate Your Skin, Hair, or Treatment Area

Frequently Asked Questions

Which aesthetic treatment should I choose?

The appropriate option depends on your concern, skin or hair characteristics, health information, previous procedures, and acceptable recovery.
Begin with Skin Analysis & Consultations if you are uncertain which treatment to request.

What is the difference between Alma Harmony and Alma Hybrid?

Alma Harmony is a multi-application platform used at Lawa for ClearLift, vascular treatment, laser hair removal, and tattoo removal.
Alma Hybrid is a fractional laser resurfacing platform used for adjustable skin-resurfacing treatments and Pixel Peel.

How much downtime should I expect?

Recovery varies considerably. A Harmony Facial may involve little visible recovery, while a chemical peel, laser resurfacing treatment, or microneedling procedure may cause redness, sensitivity, peeling, or other temporary effects.
Your provider should explain the expected recovery before treatment.

Can multiple aesthetic treatments be combined?

Treatments may be included in a coordinated plan when appropriate. They should not be combined or scheduled closely together without professional guidance.
Your provider will consider healing time, treatment interactions, skin condition, and cumulative risk.

Are aesthetic treatments appropriate for every skin tone?

No single treatment is automatically appropriate for every skin tone or concern. Some lasers, peels, and other procedures may carry a greater risk of pigment changes for certain patients.
Treatment selection and settings should reflect your skin characteristics, health history, sun exposure, and previous response to procedures.
